Ray McDonald Sports Center Arena: The final day for family skating (public skating) this 2017 Season was Sunday, March 12. The final day for shinny was Monday, March 13. The newly created ice loop at Heritage Lake is open; however, for use by the public. Questions can be directed to Morinville's Facebook page, or call Community Services at 780.939.7839.
The Town of Morinville 2017 Spring/Summer Community Guide will be coming out soon. The guide will be viewable online beginning March 24, 2017, with registration starting 8 a.m. March 27, 2017. Hard copies will be available starting April 3, 2017.
2017 Toilet Rebate Program: Morinville is offering a rebate to residents, rental properties and business owners to encourage the replacement of old and inefficient toilets with low-flush or dual-flush toilets to reduce water consumption. The program is retroactive to January 1, 2017. Access complete details including program requirements and application form.

Unique Animals (Fowl Pilot Program): As part of the new Responsible Pet Ownership Bylaw 5/2016 a pilot program was approved for 2017 to fowl only. A maximum of 10 households will be approved in 2017. Approved households will only be allowed six fowl. Prior to permit approval, a list of conditions must be met. Download and complete the application at the following link.
