The following notices are made available to the public, providing them an opportunity to express their comments or concerns regarding current development.  As each application may be dealt with differently, we ask that anyone wishing to provide comment contact Planning & Economic Development for more information.  Contact information is available at the bottom of this page.  Complete applications are available for review at St. Germain Place.

Development Permits

Following is a list of recently issued development permits for discretionary uses and/or variances to the Land Use Bylaw.  Upon approval, there is a 21 day appeal period available to anyone claiming to be affected.  Notices have also been mailed to adjacent landowners.  (For a list of all previously issued development permits, please contact the Planning & Economic Development Department.)  If the list is empty, there are no current notices to post – please check again later.


Development Permit Approval Notice – May 18, 2018:

  • DP036/2018 – Single Detached Dwelling, 9603 106 Ave (Lot 66, Block 37, Plan 1424801) – Minimum Required Side Yard (1.5m to 1.4m) – Variance (DC-3-5 District).

Subdivision Applications

Public Hearings | Redistricting/Amendment Applications

Following is a list of proposed Land Use Bylaw amendments and other planning bylaws for which a Public Hearing is to be held at a Council Meeting.  Everyone is invited to attend the Public Hearing, and for those wishing to provide written comments they must be received by 4:30 p.m. on the day before the Public Hearing will be held.  Notices have also been mailed to adjacent landowners and may have been published in The Free Press.  If the list is empty, there are no current notices to post – please check again later.


Bylaw 6/2018 – Advertising Bylaw

Purpose: to allow for additional methods (electronic advertising) of giving notice to residents for advertising a proposed bylaw, resolution, meeting or public hearing.
