In 2013, the Town of Morinville began an Incredible Edibles program. Each year, Public Works staff incorporate edible plants into public landscaping in various locations around town for passersby to enjoy. Produce such as chamomile, cabbage, carrots, celery, cherries, Nasturtium (edible flowers), onions, plums, potatoes, saskatoon berries, spinach, tomatoes, turnips and various herbs can be found in the following locations throughout the summer of 2016:

  • TOWN HALL:

  • EAST ENTRANCE BED: 
    • Garlice
    • Sunflower
    • Corn
    • Kale
    • Lettuce
    • Cucumber
    • Carrots
    • Beets
    • Onion

  • 100 STREET AGGREGATE PLANTERS:
    • Herb  mix in several while others are just flowers

There are no incredible edibles at the Fish & Game this year. Fruit trees remain along all walking trails.
